The Kettle Falls Friends of the Pool & Parks 501(c)(3) non-profit is running a fundraising to buy and install a slide on the Kettle Falls Pool!
The slide pictured here is the slide we are looking to purchase and with shipping and installation we are looking to raise $30,000.

Slide Fund FAQs
Why this slide?
We went with the SR Smith Vortex Pool Slide because it is extremely durable and one of the most reliable pool slides. It is also commercial-grade which is an insurance/DOH requirement for any slides that are added.
Does the slide have water?
The slide will be plumbed to a hookup which we already installed during the original pool build as we were planning on the eventual install of a slide. There will be a constant stream of water running down the slide which will make it super comfortable and refreshing to race down!
When will the slide be installed?
We hoping to raise the funds this summer to purchase the slide and prepare for a spring install, ensuring we have the slide ready to go for the 2026 season. Installation won’t take too long so the only thing really determining our timeline is if we can raise the funds in time.
Where on the pool deck will the slide be installed?
The slide will be installed near the water hookup on the west side of the pool, near where the lifeguard chair currently sits. (You can see the water hookup cap on the pool deck)
Can adults use the slide?
The slide accommodates riders up to 325 lbs.
